Which of the following sentences is correct? "I bathe every morning" or "I bath every morning".
"Bathe" is the verb and "bath" is the noun. Therefore the correct sentence is "I bathe every morning". By the way, the "a" in "bathe" is like the "ay" in "bay", "day", and "say". The final "the" is pronounced like the "th" in "this", "that", and "those". If you want to use the word "bath", then you would have to say, "I have a bath every morning", "The child enjoys taking a bath", etc.Source:
